PROFILE: NICOLE WEIDENSAUL

Hi!  I love what I do and think I have the best job in the world.  I became passionate about health and fitness early on in my life, while running track and competing in triathlons.  I began soaking in everything there was to know about training and racing.  Enjoying a healthy lifestyle so much, I decided to study health and fitness in college.  While at Miami University, I graduated with honors and my B.S. in Health and Sport Studies.  In the over 10 years I've spent working in this field, I have been able to use my education and experience to help a wide variety of individuals in their quest for fitness.

I have had incredible experiences working at some amazing places!  I've been a YMCA Health and Fitness Director, a Gold's Gym Fitness and Nutrition Program Director, and a Fitness Coordinator for the US Navy.  My time working with pre and post surgery patients in a physical therapy clinic allowed me the chance to treat many types of injuries.  Holding numerous certifications has enabled me to teach a variety of fitness and nutrition classes and train others to become fitness leaders in the field.  However, what I have enjoyed the most is writing fitness programs for different populations including beginners in pursuit of a healthy lifestyle, seniors looking to maintain strength or flexibility, and advanced athletes looking to improve their performance.

My athletic career started by running track as early as 1991.  I have run competitively at a wide range of distances from 5Ks to marathons.  In 1995, I decided to add variety to my workouts by training for and competing in my first triathlon.  Since that time, I have raced in triathlons from sprint distance to full Ironman distance.  This has allowed me to earn many awards and hold national rankings in triathlon and collegiate cycling at Miami.

The programs I write are focused on helping YOU achieve YOUR goals and are fit around YOUR lifestyle.  I understand how challenging it can be to manage a busy schedule and still find time to workout.  Therefore, each fitness program is tailored to your individual needs and requests.  My programs are really "Fit 4 You"!
